Our adventure begins bright and early at 7:00 am as we depart in private transportation toward Chinchero, a charming village in the Sacred Valley. Here, you’ll explore ancient Inca walls and ruins, learn about the village’s rich history, and enjoy a demonstration of traditional textile art by skilled local women.
Next, we’ll head to the famous circular terraces of Moray, where the Incas are believed to have experimented with different crops and agricultural techniques. From there, we’ll visit the Maras Salt Mines, a network of over 3,000 salt pools still in use today, producing some of the finest salt. You'll have the chance to purchase this unique product to bring home.
Our journey continues to Urubamba, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a wide variety of Peruvian dishes, offering the perfect opportunity to taste the region's traditional foods.
After lunch, we’ll visit Ollantaytambo, known as the "last living Inca city." Its impressive archaeological site features water sources, high terraces, temples, and breathtaking views of towering mountains and a distant glacier. Take a stroll along its beautiful cobblestone streets, capture stunning photos, and ask our expert guide about the history of this remarkable Inca city.
Our next destination is Pisac, where we’ll explore its archaeological site. Known for its harmonious terraces and its famous Intihuatana stone, Pisac played a key role in predicting the solstices and equinoxes for the agricultural calendar. The site is shaped like a condor, adding to its mystique. We’ll also visit Pisac’s vibrant market, where you can shop for unique crafts and souvenirs to remember your journey.
Finally, we’ll return to Cusco, where our transportation will take you back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest after a day filled with culture, history, and the breathtaking landscapes of the Sacred Valley.
