The Rainbow Mountain and 7 Lakes in Ausangate Trek features some spectacular views and sights. Trek to the Rainbow Mountain and be amazed by the natural colors of the sandstone mountains. Later trek further to the Red Valley. Camp overnight under the stars. Visit seven colorful lakes, most of green and blue surrounded by glaciers and high mountain peaks. To finish take a soak at the hot springs where you can relax surrounded by snow capped peaks.

Day 1: Cusco Rainbow Mountain
Our tour begins between 4 and 5 a.m. with pick up from your hotel.
We head towards the Rainbow Mountain, we will make a stop in the town of Cusipata to enjoy the typical Andean buffet breakfast, once we have energy we will head towards the community of Chillihuani.
After replenishing our strength, we continue our journey for about 40 minutes until we reach the starting point of the hike. From here, the exciting climb to the Rainbow Mountain begins. The climb lasts approximately 1 hour, on our walk we will have views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain and very beautiful mountains.
Upon reaching the Rainbow Mountain, you will have 15 to 20 minutes of explanation by the guide and then 40 minutes to 1 hour of photos, which due to the altitude at which we will be, which is 5100 m.a.s.l., allows us to stay longer.
After visiting the mountain, we descend on a 1-hour walk to our transport unit (minivan). From here, we set off for our well-deserved buffet lunch. After our lunch, we will travel to the Pacchanta community (a 3-hour trip). Upon arriving at Pacchanta, we will have the experience of being in the Pacchanta community. We will spend the night in a guest house, taking advantage of the fact that we will be located in the most pleasant place where the natural thermal baths are located and because of the amount of medicinal minerals.
In Pacchanta, a night of rest and relaxation awaits you. To end the day, enjoy a delicious traditional dinner, and if you feel like it, relax in the natural thermal baths, surrounded by mountains and a tranquility that only this place can offer at the foot of Ausangate.
Day 2: The 7 Lakes Of Ausangate
The second day will begin with everyone in the morning after finishing our buffet breakfast in the town of Pacchanta, together with our guide we will begin our walk to the 7 lakes located at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, at this point we will find the 7 famous lakes of different colors with a visit of almost 1 hour, in the upper sector next to the lagoons, we will have time for our photos next to each lagoon, the place is spectacular since if it starts to rain it will not be rain but snow, and if it is a sunny day the violent clash of light and shadow will make us have incredible views of each lakes, after visiting the 7 lakes we will begin our walk to the town of Pacchanta, place where we will have our buffet lunch, and if we did not have the experience the day before at night of entering the thermal baths, it will be the right time where we will have the due time to enjoy the thermal baths.
Then we begin our trip to the city of Cusco.
